Oh I love it!! You are totally gorgeous in green! By the way that's one of our very favorite picture books!! I hope it was a fun party, I don't think it could have been anything less than a blast :)
I'm laughing and laughing!!! I've just come to visit as I wanted the link of your blog to give to a lady in Australia, "come and visit this beautiful, holy blog" I wrote...and there's Helen as a big green pocketbook!!!
What a fun and loving mother you must be, Helen! Prayers for you as you enter those wonderful last few weeks before you meet your precious little baby!
Helen, you remind me of how I looked with Annika, born on a rainy Halloween. Yeah, I had a HUGE orange shirt, and looked very seasonal! You look wonderful!!!!
I love it!!! ny! Too cute! It's not every mom who can pull off a green pocket book in full fashion like that! Your sweet baby is going to have fun someday looking back at that photo and knowing that he or she had such a pivotal role in that cool costume! :)
Thanks again for all your help the last few days on other matters. I'm making phone calls and starting to figure things out! Yippee!
Ave Maria!
I am a proud and happy, Catholic homeschooling mother of eight children! (I was recently blessed with my second pregnancy in addition to my six adopted children.)
I probably should change my screen name to Helen instead of Mary Vitamin, but I really like the way "Mary Vitamin" looks. I have this idea that it points readers to the apostolate of Mary Vitamin (the Yahoogroup listed above.) Be that as it may, here in my "internet journal", I hope to bring together ideas, projects and prayers which connect a life of prayer with Catholic family life and homeschooling.
"The Christian family is the first place of education in prayer. Based on the sacrament of marriage, the family is the 'domestic church' where God's children learn to pray 'as the Church' and to persevere in prayer. For young children in particular, daily family prayer is the first witness of the Church's living memory as awakened patiently by the Holy Spirit." Catechism of the Catholic Church, #2685.
