A Vlog and Some Carnivals
I can't wait for Father Angelo to start his own blog, but in the meantime he has taken the time to share with us an explanation of the Perpetual Virginity of Our Lady in light of the new movie, The Nativity.
Please visit Air Maria and watch the video clip with Fr. Angelo speaking about this truth of Our Lady. (It is very well done ... and you get an idea of the teaching we Third Order members receive at our monthly cenacle meetings.)
Jenn at Family in Feast and Feria has put together a Loveliness carnival with a great selection of Advent posts. Her blog is worth bookmarking. She does a great job pulling together books, resources and traditions to go along with the Liturgical year.
O Night Divine, MaryEllen's wonderful gift to busy moms who want to prepare well for Christmas, is hosting the Catholic Homeschooling Carnival Christmas edition.
Dawn has organized another beautiful nature carnival. Don't miss By Sun and Candlelight's
Field Day

Thank you for the link, Helen! :)
Helen, thanks so much for the Air Maria link about Fr Angelo. I couldn't watch the video, but his review of the movie was very helpful and extremely timely for me. My two oldest are part of a girls club here that plan to go see the movie this weekend. After reading this review, I definitely want to preview it myself before deciding if I will let them see it. I hadn't read anything about the movie yet, except for the USCCB review, which was not at all illuminating.
I haven't had the time for blogging (writing or reading) at all lately...how amazing and perfect that the Holy Spirit led me here today! Thank you!
