Mary Vitamin, emailer and now reporter, hit the streets in order to interview some of the great saints to find out their thoughts on the apostolate of Mary Vitamin, the daily Marian meditation by email.

The first interview involved the great doctor of the Church, St. Alphonsus di Liguori.

St. Alphonsus,
“Yes, yes, I am very happy with Mary Vitamin. It is bringing my work, The Glories of Mary, to many people. In the introduction to my work, I tell the reader my intention, to gather all the sayings of the Doctors and Fathers of the Church in one place, in order to give honor to the Blessed Virgin Mary. So, this email apostolate is wonderful.’
“Yes, I support Mary Vitamin.”

Mary Vitamin went looking for St. Maximilian Kolbe. He was very busy with his new printing press, a state of the art digital copy machine, but he willingly stepped away in honor of the Immaculate and said:

“Oh, yes, Mary Vitamin: Bring the Immaculate to the World with whatever means you have available.”
“I have to run now, I’m off to give a lecture on Our Lady, spouse of the Holy Spirit.”

Mary Vitamin made a stop at Church for a visit to the Blessed Sacrament, and who was coming out of Church pulled away by some charitable exercise, but St. Peter Julian Eymard! St. Peter would you have a minute to answer some questions about Mary Vitamin?

“Oh, yes, yes. I have always said “If your love is not nourished by a new form of devotion, a new thought, you will become stupid in prayer."

(Really, he said that in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, page13)

Finally, Mary Vitamin found St. John Bosco, busy among 500 of his boys. They had just finished with a few prayers to Our Lady Help of Christians. Mary Vitamin was able to pull him aside and ask his thoughts on the apostolate of Mary Vitamin:

“Well, one of my resolutions when I became a seminarian was to daily make a Marian meditation and then to tell one other person about it. If I had internet in my day, I certainly would have been part of Mary Vitamin.”

Well, there you have it. A day in the street, visiting with a few of the saints who would highly recommend Mary Vitamin!

I keep stumbling over new things as I explore...this is great! I had a laugh..but there is of course the element of reality..they WOULD recommend them.

You'll have to ask St John Bosco's recommendation for the Chewables for all his boys...I'm sure of what the answer would be.
